We’re Hiring! – Grounds Maintenance Person

A grounds maintenance person is required for Scar Farm Holiday Park in Saundersfoot.

The Scar Farm Holiday Park is owned and managed by The Hean Castle Estate. It comprises 145 Owner Occupied Static Caravans, there is no hire fleet and subletting is not permitted. There is no clubhouse on site, the only managed facilities being a launderette and children’s play area.

Duties will be predominantly manual tasks associated with the tending and upkeep of the shrubs and flowerbeds on site. In addition to mowing, strimming etc. as well as the maintenance of site infrastructure. (Roads, hedges, fences etc.)

The position requires a candidate who is physically fit, with an outgoing personality, an interest in gardening and who holds a full driving licence.

Hours of Work will be 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday, with a 15 minute rest break at 10am and an hour for Lunch from 12:00 until 1pm, giving a 37.5 hour week.

The Rate of Pay will be £8.49 per hour, The standard holiday entitlement is 21 days paid holiday per annum, in addition to statutory public holidays.

This position is ‘Customer facing’ and as such the successful applicant will be expected to be polite and courteous as well as being well presented. A uniform will be provided.
